Why Are We Better?

Sag free | Solar 12v / 240v automated | Only 200mm head room utilized

Clear Span

The large partition-free doorways make it ideal for any workshop or building that requires doors with such features. AeroPanel is especially designed for aircraft hangars but has so many industrial and commercial applications also, so don’t let the name fool you.

Another Header

Our design is a simplistic single-panel door and our cabled operating system. This design allows this door to be the most reasonably priced, fully automated door on the New Zealand market.

Another Header

All AeroPanel doors are automated. Packages come with four remote controls with inside controls and an outside combination pad. All this with or without mains power on-site.

Powering

Mains power is not required. For the average hangar or non-commercial application, the AeroPanel system is a low voltage system powered by solar with battery backup. Mains power is only required in larger commercial applications.

Operation

Wireless remote controls in your vehicle or aircraft allow instant access in and out of your hangar. A combination pad outside and wall mounted controls inside allow for operations on foot. No keys needed. Multiple entry codes for different people you can delete or add as needed.

Use of Space and Room

There is no wasted space with the door panel travelling and tilting up and inward. No outside tracks and guides. No large spacing needed between buildings to suit sliding doors.

Design

AeroPanel doors are lightweight but durable. They do not need extra heavy support structures like many other hoist-up fabric, sectional and bi-fold doors on the market, which significantly helps reduce the construction costs.

Inward Swing

AeroPanel doors have no inward swing, unlike some bi-fold and swing doors. AeroPanel doors travel up and out in the traditional tilta-door style.

Door Sag

Whether a 12- or a 20-metre span, AeroPanel doors have no sag or bounce! Compare that to all other brands with deep bracing, yet still struggling with sagging, when open.

Weather

The open door provides a perfect sun and weather veranda that easily disperses its own water from rainfall. It has a rubber weathertight seal around all four sides.

Wind Loading

We have all seen or heard of door damage due to wind. Our door is engineer-designed to very high wind speed in excess of 50 mps or 180 kmph.

Safety

Featuring load sensitivity protection should the door touch something while opening or closing.

Reliability

Minimal moving parts with a solid one-piece panel and counterweight. Sealed bearing sheaves and guiding rollers are the only wearing parts. Our single-panel door has no hinged sections. Other folding panel doors have hinges trying to pivot while sagging over the expected span. Hinging a curved surface and expecting durability is an unreasonable expectation.

Service and Installation Concept

AeroPanel service agents offer a comprehensive service and full installation anywhere in New Zealand, from the design and installation to the maintenance service covering the entire service life. Regardless of the distance to your location, we are there for you and our products.

Usable Opening Size

The importance of wasted head space the door takes up at the top of the opening should not be overlooked. The standard AeroPanel door takes up less than 200 mm of headroom of the doorways opening, this compared to a bi-fold taking up to 800 mm or more of valuable headroom. This alone would require you to build your building this much taller just to have the same usable opening clearance, not to mention the door itself being this much taller to cover its unusable space.
